What's Open, Closed on Victory Day?

Rhode Island is the only state still celebrating Victory Day (also known as Victory Over Japan Day, referring to the end of World War II). It is always celebrated on the second Monday in August, this year today, Aug. 8.
Barrington retail stores, supermarkets and restaurants that are normally open on Mondays will be open.
The Barrington Post Office will be open and there will be mail delivery. Also, the UPS store will be open.
If you need bus service, RIPTA will be following its holiday schedule.
Barrington Urgent Care will be open from 8 am to 7 pm.
