It’s New Year’s Day.

But you can still shop and find your favorite coffee and pastries in Barrington. Just about all retail stores are open. But not liquor stores.

Don’t expect to conduct any town business or mail a letter or pick up a book at the library, though.

Barrington Town Hall is closed. So is the public library, the Senior Center in the lower level of the library, and the post office.

You don’t really have to look too hard to find a place to eat out as well.

All of the banks in Barrington are closed today as well. You can always access an ATM.
