Hummel asked Jannitto about Ms. Mack’s hourly rates.

Jannitto said:

“I don’t know that that’s what she gets.” “I don’t really know off hand, no.”

“She does get a decent amount.”

“if its keeping the board satisfied and out of hot water then I think it’s worth it.”

“I just don’t I’ll be perfectly honest with you I’m uh the Chairman of the Board & I’m the chairman in a role more or less to keep the board together and keep people happy. I don’t personally get that detailed in the nuts and bolts of everything.”

What?

The BCWA chairman should monitor, and have knowledge of all costs, especially legal.

I understand that Mrs. Mack’s rate was $475 per hour last year, and is now $375.

Perhaps the Patch could do a survey concerning whether Mrs. Mack’s rates are exorbitant, and what would be an appropriate hourly rate.
