Volunteers Named to 7 Town Boards
The Barrington Town Council names 11 men and women to serve on boards and commissions.
The Barrington Town Council has appointed volunteers to serve on seven boards and commissions.
Thomas E Billups, of 20 Oak Grove Avenue, a professional builder, has been named to the Building Board of Review. He will serve a five-year term that runs through the end of December, 2017.
David Boyes, of 220 Washington Road, has been appointed to the Conservation Commission for another five-year term.
Three volunteers have been reappointed to serve three-year terms on the Harbor Commission: Brian S. Hunt, of 19 Riverview Drive, Paul H. Dennis, of 23 Christine Drive and Nelson L. Hawkins Jr., 9 Lee Road.
Kenneth Satterley, of 2 South Lake Drive, has been reappointed to a three-year term on the Housing Board of Trustees.
Two women have been named to the Library Trustees: Cindy Kaplan, of 5 Karen Drive, who was reappointed, and Eileen Meehan, of 24 Hawthorne Ave. They will serve three-year terms.
Park and Recreation Commission Chairman R. Michael Seward, of 41 North Lake Drive, was reappointed to another three-year term on that board. He is the longest serving member of that board.
Two men have been reappointed to serve five-year terms on the Zoning Board of Review: Paul Blasbalg, of 11 Mathewson Road, a former alternate, and Stephen Venuti, of 17 Stanhope Drive. They will serve until the end of 2017.
