Rain held off on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 29, for the annual Rubber Ducky Race of the Barrington Education Foundation -- celebrating its 20th year.

The annual event drew hundreds of families, numerous Barrington school officials and a handful of politicians to the Peck Center and nearby Woods Pond. Exactly 1,071 tickets were sold, according to organizers, beating last year's total.

Gray skies did not seem to damper the fun. And the float of the duckies across the pond drew hundreds of onlookers with expectant faces.
