For this year's election on Nov. 6, you are required to show proof of identification at your polling place. Tthere's still time to register and obtain a Voter ID card if you plan to vote.

The accompanying video (running time 1 minute) provides a summary of how to get a free Rhode Island Voter ID card through the office of Secretary of State Ralph Mollis.
