Town Offices, Library, Senior Center Reopen
Schools are closed for vacation week but every other municipal department returns to normal for a few days before the New Year weekend.

It will be business as usual at Barrington Town Hall, Public Library, Public Works Department and Senior Center after the Christmas weekend holiday; the schools, of course, are in a vacation week.
Learn to paint at one of the two painting classes at the Senior Center at 9:30 am and 12:30 pm.
The Barrington Recreation Department and Dudek Bowling Alley are offering discount bowling passes this week through Thursday; bowl from 12 to 5 pm.
Triton Swimming offers a group workout for adults at 5:30 am at the East Providence Boys & Girls Club, 115 Williams Ave.; ideal for intermediate to advanced swimmers.
Sparky's Puppets will visit the Seekonk Public Library, 410 Newman Ave., from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Admission is free.
