- It looks like a pretty nice, late summer weekend ahead: mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low 80s.
- The Farmer's Market at the Barrington Congregational (White) Church in Barrington is Saturday morning.
- The Beach Boys tribute band, "The Driftwoods," perform Saturday evening at Barrington Beach in a rescheduled concert from last Saturday. The show starts at 6 pm.
- The First Congregational Church in Bristol hosts an "Art Affair on the Fence" on Saturday.
- The East Bay Patriots organizaton hosts author Trevor Loudon, who is promoting his new book, "Barack Obama and the Enemies Within," tonight, Aug. 24 at the old Bristol State House on High Street.
