Temple Hosting Interfaith Service
The annual Barrington Interfaith Service of Thanksgiving will be held tonight at 7:30 at Temple Habonim on New Meadow Road.
Barrington worshipers of all faiths will come together tonight, Nov. 19, at Temple Habonim at 7:30 for the annual Interfaith Service of Thanksgiving.
Members of congregations of Barrington's churches and synagogue always share the service. They sing, they offer readings and prayers, they enjoy each other's company over coffee and pastries after the service.
The service rotates each year, said Rabbi Andrew Klein, who will welcome worshipers to the temple.
"There will be lots of music, lots of singers, and lots of prayers from all houses of worship," said Rabbi Klein. "It's a way for the community to have a service together. You do not have to be a member of a house of worship."
Worshipers are asked to bring a donation of food to be given to TAP-IN in Barrington.
The temple is located on New Meadow Road.
