'Take Six' Continues; Story Hour

'Take Six: The Big Issues of 2012' election series explores American economic policy at 7 pm; another story this morning at Barrington Books.

 

“Take Six: The Big Issues of 2012” election series continues at 7 pm in the Barrington library auditorium with a Brown University economics professor, Brian Knight, who will discuss economic policy in the United States; the session is sponsored by the League of Women Voters.

The Town Museum operated by the Barrington Preservation Society is open from 11 am to 3 pm; stop by and see the current exhibit, “200 Years of Barrington Summers,” before it goes away.

Join Margie Reed for a lively story hour and craft project for children every Thursday at Barrington Books, Barrington Shopping Plaza, at 10:30 am.

Take a free Zumba class at 426 Fitness, 426 Metacom Ave., in Warren and benefit the animal shelter where Barrington pets often are taken for treatment and shelter. The class starts at 7 pm.

Check your blood pressure at the Barrington Senior Center at 10:30 am and return to play Bingo at 1 pm.
