Take Middle East, Zumba Classes
Barrington library's classroom series led by local scholars each Thursday looks at the Middle East.
The free 12-week public classroom series on the Middle East, led by local scholars, continues at 7 pm in the Barrington library; it looks at the region's history, religious practices, arts, culture, economics and political developments.
Benefit the Warren Animal Shelter, used by Barrington for the care and treatment of stray dogs and cats, by taking a Zumba class at 426 Fitness, 426 Metacom Ave., at 7 pm.
The Recreation Department’s badminton league plays at 7 pm in the Barrington Middle School gymnasium.
Barrington Books hosts a children's story hour at 10:30 am for kids ages 2-5 although all ages are welcome.
The Takes Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) group for this area meets at 6 pm at the Riverside Congregational Church, 15 Oak Ave., Riverside.
