Take in the first movie, The Secret of Roan Inish, of the “Erin Go Bragh: Films Set in Ireland” series at 2 pm in the Barrington library auditorium.
Professional dancer Nelia Lawton teaches ballroom and Latin dancing at 7 pm at the Democratic Club, 186 Roffee St.; a social dance follows the lessons.
Children ages 8-12 are invited to Friday Night Hoops at the Bayside YMCA, an adult supervised pickup basketball game starting at 9 pm.
Play Scrabble at the Barrington Senior Center from 10 am to noon; you don’t have to be a senior, it’s open to everyone.
It’s Open Mic night at the Coffee Depot, 501 Main St., Warren; stop by at 7 pm, hear a featured artist at 8 pm, and show off your talent starting at 8:40 pm.
