Swearing In; Learn About Alzheimer's
Barrington's Town Council, School Committee and Town Moderator to be sworn in; doctor to tell you what you need to know about Alzheimer's and dementia in the library.
The 2012 election-year swearing-in ceremony for Barrington’s town councilors, school committee members and the town moderator starts at 8 pm; RI Attorney General Peter Kilmartin will do the honors.
Dr. Bruce Abbott, director of neurology at the Southcoast Brain and Spine Center, will lead a discussion about Alzheimer's and dementia and share new findings, treatments and techniques at the Barrington library at 1 pm. Sponsored by the Bayside YMCA and Southcoast Health System.
Play duplicate bridge in the Barrington Senior Center every Monday at 6:45 pm.
