Student Fashion Show; Parents Meeting
Barrington High School students to debut an array of fashions made from hand-me-downs and everyday items; parents association meets in high school library.
The annual Student Fashion Show at Barrington High School will debut an array of unusual fashions from old hand-me-downs and everyday items. It starts at 7 pm in the auditorium. A $5 fee benefits Relay for Life.
The Barrington High School Parents Association meets at 7 pm in the school library with Superintendent Robert McIntyre and Ron Tarro, finance director, speaking about the proposed 2012-2013 school budget.
A May matinee film series on Cary Grant hosted by librarian and film buff Doug Swiszcz starts today at 2 pm in the Barrington Public Library auditorium. Grant stars in “Awful Truth,” a screwball comedy with Irene Dunn.
The Town Museum operated by the Barrington Preservation Society in the lower level of the library is open from 11 am to 4 pm for viewing of its exhibits and collection and the recording of oral histories.
