School Vacation-Week Deadline, RI Wild Plant Society Program
Library features film, 'Napoleon Dynamite', and you can get a lesson in wood carving at Senior Center.
Noon is the deadline for registering your children, ages 7 to 12 and 12 to 16, for the Recreation Department’s school vacation-week programs at the middle school from April 18-22.
See Napoleon Dynamite, the 2004 film starring Jon Heder and Efren Ramirez, at 7 pm in the Barrington Public Library's stadium theater-like auditorium.
The garden club hosts a R.I. Wild Plant Society program on the state’s wildflowers and birds at 7 pm at Atria Bay Spring Village, 147 Bay Spring Ave.
Wood carver Dan Elkins leads a free session on making your own wood carvings at the Senior Center from 1 to 3 pm.
The Ad Hoc Taxation/Assessment Committee meets at 6 pm in the Town Hall while the Senior Services Advisory Board meets at 7:30 pm in the Senior Center.
