SATURDAY FUN: BCA Hosts Carnival

The first Barrington Christian Academy carnival takes place on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the school on Old County Road.

A carnival comes to town on Saturday, Oct. 27.

It’s the first Barrington Christian Academy Carnival – rain or shine. It runs from 10 am to 2 pm at the school on Old County Road.

Booths sponsored by student organizations will offer games, snacks and crafts, said Rachel Nichols, a carnival committee member. There will also be a rock wall, a bounce house, live entertainment, a bake sale, a raffle and food vendors.

Among the vendors: Blount Fine Foods, Starbucks, Flat Waves, and Mangia Neapolian Pizza, soon to open in the Village Center in Barrington.

Money raised at the carnival will be divided among the teams, choir and other organizations at the school. The high school students, for instance, will put their share of the proceeds toward a mission trip to the Dominican Republic next year, said Nichols.

For more information about the carnival, go to www.bcacademy.org or call 401-246-0113.
