Regatta at Beach; 'WALL-E' in Library
First day of the Sunfish regatta hosted by the Barrington Yacht Club starts mid-day at the beach; Kids Film Night at library.
Sunfish racing off of Barrington Beach begins in earnest about mid-day with the Youth North American Open Championship running over two days. Follow the Regatta signs to Bay Road, which leads you to the beach.
It’s Kids Film Night in the library auditorium, where “WALL-E” will air at 7 pm as part of the 2011 Edutainment Series sponsored by the Conservation Commission.
2nd Story Theatre, 28 Market St., Warren presents a mid-week 7 pm performance of “Speech and Debate," a contemporary comedy about three teens in Salem, Ore., who are linked by a sex scandal.
The weekly Wednesday farmer’s market at Haines Memorial State Park runs from 2 to 6 pm.
The weekly Al-Anon meeting for adults raised in alcoholic homes starts at 7 pm at St. James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Highway.
