'Rear Window'; Town Council Meets
The James Stewart film series at Barrington library continues today at 1 pm; the Town Council holds its mid-summer meeting at 7 pm.
The summer matinee film series in the Barrington library, James Stewart on the Big Screen, continues at 1 pm with “Rear Window,” one of four movies Stewart made with renowned director Alfred Hitchcock -- a 1954 film that explores voyeurism, human alienation and loneliness.
The Barrington Town Council meets at 7 pm for its mid-summer meeting in the Council Chamber in Town Hall.
The Barrington Community School offers an outdoor T'ai Chi class at Haines Memorial Park, led by Bob McManus, at 8:45 am. Classes will meet at St. John's Episcopal Church if it rains.
Play bridge at the Barrington Senior Center at 6:45 pm.
