RE/MAX Holds 'Leap Day' Open House
Today is Feb. 29, Leap Day in 2012; RE/MAX River's Edge officially opens its new office in East Providence.
Today is Leap Day 2012, the additional day in February during a Leap Year; wish anyone you know who was born on Feb. 29 an extra-special happy birthday because it won’t happen again until 2016, and women, if you have special men, this is the day you can propose to them.
RE/MAX River’s Edge holds an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new East Providence office, 660 Warren Ave., from 4 to 7 pm.
The ad hoc Police Cove Park design committee meets, perhaps for the final time, at 7 pm in the Council Chamber in Town Hall.
The Barrington Preservation Society Museum is open from 11 am to 4 pm for viewing of its exhibits and collection and gathering of oral histories.
Al Anon, a weekly meeting of adults raised in alcoholic homes, meets at 7 pm at St. James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Highway.
