The Christmas tree collection program in Barrington will start on Monday, Jan. 7, and continue for three weeks.

Just place your tree on the curbside. Please remove all decorations and tinsel before you take it outside. It won't be picked up unless the tree is bare of any ornamentation.

The curbside yard-waste pickup has ended for the year and will resume in April, according to the Department of Public Works.

You may bring grass and leaves to the yard-waste dumpster at the Barrington Recycling Center. The hours are 8 am to 4 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and 8 am to noon on Sunday.
