Power could be out for several days in many parts of Rhod Island, including Barrington, according to National Grid, which is terming the Blizzard of '13 a "multi-day event" in the Providence Journal.
The blizzard struck transmission lines, according to National Grid.
All of Barrington was without power Saturday. People who want to find heat were being urged to go to the Public Safety Building on Federal Road.
