Hey, kids. Love to play basketball?

Get in out of the cold next Wednesday, Dec. 28, and Thursday, Dec. 29, and play some hoops in the warm gymnasium at the Barrington Middle School.

It’s the “Holiday Invitational 3 on 3 Basketball Round Robin” sponsored by the Recreation Department. The middle school teams play on Wednesday; the high school teams play on Thursday.

Deadline for all entries is this Friday, Dec. 23. Go to the Recreation Department, the Town Clerk’s office in Town Hall or the library circulation desk.

The tournaments are scheduled to run on both days from 9 am to 3 pm. There is a $25 entry fee per team or $5 per player. Five players per team is the limit. If you don’t have a team, you will be placed on one.

Eight teams will make up the tourney, with teams for grades 6-8 and 9-12. Varsity players are ineligible.
