PHOTOS: Plenty of Fall Fun in Sun

Hundreds took advantage of a sun-splashed Saturday in October to visit three festivals within minutes of each other in Barrington.

Pumpkins. Carved and painted pumpkins. Inflatables. More inflatables.

Food. Food trucks. Games. Pony rides. A horse-pulled wagon ride. A train ride.

Tattoos. Painted faces. A black-cat adoption. Candidates campaigning. Vendors selling. A raffle. A silent auction. Music. More music.

Yes, there was plenty to do and see in Barrington on Saturday, Oct. 13. Three festivals shared the hearts and minds of hundreds of families and friends and neighbors.

The Barrington Business Association brought a "Harvest Stroll" to the Town Hall area of Town Center.

St. John's Episcopal Church brought a family festival to its annual Pumpkin Junction sale on County Road.

The PTO at Sowams School held its annual October Festival on the school grounds off Sowams Road.
