The Phineas Gage Project will fill the Bay Spring Community Center in West Barrington with "pholk phunk music for happy brains" tonight.
The show is another Local Brew Coffeehouse at the Narragansett Avenue venue. It starts at 7 pm on the first floor. Doors open at 6 pm.
The three-person band describes itself as "pheaturing tight 3-part harmonies and pherocious instrumental work on guitar, mandolin, and djembe (plus the occasional hooter and harmonica), Phineas Gage plays groove-filled originals, as well as all of your favorite covers from the past phifty years."
Performing with the Phinease Gage Project will be Scott Baer and Bay Spring Folk.
Because the first floor is much smaller than upstairs, which awaits some renovations to make it accessible to the handicapped, there will not be a babysitter at this show.
Volunteer crew members also are needed. Email Larson Gunness for more information.
The address is 170 Narragansett Ave. – the old fire station building. You can park at Atria Bay Spring Village on the corner of Bay Spring Avenue. The walk is only a block south to the community center.
