Musicians to Join to Fill Food Pantry
Groups from St. James Lutheran Church and St. Luke's Church will merge for a night of contemporary Christian music.
Musical groups from two Barrington churches will come together on Saturday evening, Feb. 9, for a night of contemporary Christian music that will benefit a food pantry.
The Contemporary Music Group of St. James Lutheran Church and the Worship Group of St. Luke's Church will perform at St. Luke's at 108 Washington Road.
The concert runs from 6:30 to 8 pm.
The performance will feature the music of artists such as Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Natalie Grant and Kari Jobe, said David J. Lauria of St. James Church.
"It promises to be an exciting night of inspiring music," he said.
Voluntary donations of cash or canned goods will be accepted. The proceeds will benefit the food ministry at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Providence.
