Mingle with Barrington’s Republican candidates for local offices and Republican Barry Hinckley, the U.S. Senate hopeful, next Monday, Oct. 1.

The Barrington Republican Town Committee is hosting a “Candidates Reception” at Tyler Point Grille on Barton Avenue from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, said Steve Primiano, chairman of the GOP committee. 

“Guests will have a chance to meet the Republican candidates for Town Council, School Committee, and General  Assembly,” Primiano said. 

“Also attending will be Barry Hinckley, candidate for U.S. Senate,” he said.

Hickley is challenging Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse for one of Rhode Island's seats in the Senate.

Primiano said the reception is open to anyone interested in learning more about the local Republican slate.   

Admission is $30 per person or $50 per couple. There will be a cash bar.
