Man, 24, Picked Up on Warrant
Barrington police picked up Cory Dellefemine of East Providence while he was driving around town with three friends early last Thursday morning.
An East Providence man, 24, was picked up by Barrington police on a Seekonk arrest warrant while driving around Barrington early last Thursday morning.
If driving around Barrington at around 2:20 am wasn’t enough to catch the attention of a patrol officer, throwing suspected marijuana cigarettes out the window certainly caught his eye. A busted rear taillight on the vehicle didn’t help matters.
Cory M. Dellefemine, of 26 Pine Crest Drive, and three other people in the car were pulled over on County Road at Belton Drive at 2:22 am.
Checks by the patrol officer with the criminal database on all the occupants came up with the arrest warrant for Dellefemine, who failed to appear in court for a charge of disorderly conduct.
Dellefemine was taken to the Barrington police station to be held for court. He was also given a summons for driving without a license, which had been suspended.

Since when is it suspicious to simply be driving at 2AM? I'd appreciate being able to drive home at 3AM from my workplace without being followed all the way to my house.
