'Lazzaro Event' Moved to Town Hall
Former police chief, town councilor and harbormaster John Lazzaro will be recognized for 50 years of community service.

Friends, family and colleagues of former police chief, town councilor and harbormaster John Lazzaro will gather at Police Cove at 6 pm to pay tribute -- on his birthday -- to his half-century of service to the community. Police Cove is on County Road at Mathewson Road just north of the Andreozzi Bridge. Click on his name for a story previewing the event. If it rains, go to the Council Chamber in Town Hall.
The Barrington School Committee meets at 7:30 pm in the School Department conference room in Town Hall.
The Barrington Parks and Recreation Commission also meets a half hour earlier, 7 pm, in the library.
Check your blood pressure at a free screening in the Barrington Senior Center in the lower level of the library from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
