'Juno' Airs in Library; Museum Open

The Barrington library film series on independent movies you may never have seen shows 'Juno', a quirky comedy about a woman and an unexpected pregancy.

 

The Barrington library flim series, “Indy Flicks You Never Saw But Wished You Did (Or Just Want to See Again!)", shows “Juno,” a quirky comedy about a woman young woman facing an unplanned pregnancy and her unusual decision regarding her unborn child. It airs at 7 pm in the theater-like auditorium.

Thursday night Zumba classes at  426 Fitness, 426 Metacom Ave, Warren, will benefit the Warren Animal Shelter, which cares for and houses Barrington strays and pets.  Donations are collected during the free classes that start at 7 pm.

Margie Reed hosts a story hour for children every Thursday at 10 am at Barrington Books in the Barrington Shopping Plaza.

The Barrington Preservation Society Museum, located on the lower level of the library building, is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm and by appointment. 

The Bayside YMCA presents a free class, “A Matter of Balance,” from 1:30 to 3:30 pm in the Barrington library. It offers information on keeping elderly folks safe from falling.
