If you love to sit in the sun, feel the wind on your face, and dig your toes into the sand, head on down to Barrington Beach at the end of Bay Road for another day of Sunfish racing on Narragansett Bay – this time the first races in the North American Open Championship.
It’s another Kids Night Out at the Bayside Family YMCA, starting at 6 pm, which can give you and your significant other a night out without the kids as well.
Do you love Italian food, especially homemade delicacies? Then drive across the bridges to Warren for the annual St. Alexander's Church Italian festival starting at 6 pm at 221 Main St.
While you’re in Warren, you could cap off your night out by strolling into the Coffee Depot at 501 Main St. and showing off your voice at Open Mic Night starting at 7 pm.
Or, you could head for 2nd Story Theatre at 28 Market St. in Warren for a performance of “Speech and Debate,” a contemporary comedy about three misfit teens linked by a sex scandal in Salem, Ore. It starts at 8 pm.
