I love seeing houses decorated for the holidays. When I was a kid growing up in Australia, outside lights were not really the done thing. So we used to count Christmas trees in front windows on the way to my Grandma's on Christmas Eve. Here in Rhode Island, my husband and I make it a point to take the kids out every Christmas to look at all the lights in our neighborhood. To everyone who makes the effort on frosty days to get their outside lights up, I, and my family, thank you!
