Find Town History; Study Middle East
The Town Museum operated by the Barrington Preservation Society invites children to become history detectives; the Middle East classroom series continues in the library.
Children of all ages are invited to become history detectives at 1 pm in the Town Museum operated by the Barrington Preservation Society in the lower level of the public library; they will use a Historical Quest booklet with clues to finding objects in the museum.
The free 12-week public classroom series on the Middle East, including its history, religious practices, arts, culture, economics and political developments, and presented by local scholars, continues at 7 pm in the Barrington library.
Benefit the Warren Animal Shelter, used by Barrington for the care and treatment of stray dogs and cats, by taking a Zumba class at 426 Fitness, 426 Metacom Ave., at 7 pm.
