A ceiling tile lying on the floor of the CVS/pharmacy on County Road prompted a call to the Barrington police late Saturday morning for a possible larceny.

Police officers responded, of course, while the Blizzard of ’13 was winding down outside and power to Barrington was knocked out.

A CVS employee told police that there was a suspicion someone might have gained access to the store through the ceiling. The tile apparently fell not far from the second entrance to the store.

A search of the store and the pharmacy by police found nothing missing. A check of the exterior of the store for a ladder also turned up nothing suspicious or amiss.
