Dennis J. Wajda Jr., 45, Passes On
The Munroe Dairy milkman died suddenly last week at his Barrington home.
Dennis J. Wajda, Jr., of Chachapacassett Road, Barrington, died on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at his home in Barrington. He was 45.
Wajda was a Munroe Dairy milkman for many years. Visiting hours are today from 4 to 8 pm at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol.
Born in Fall River, Wadja was a lifelong Barrington resident. He was a son of the late Dennis J. and Anne E. (Teixeira) Wajda.
He was a member of the East Bay Rod & Gun Club, the Warren Gun Club, and the MMATV Club. He was a coach with Barrington Pop Warner Football, a volunteer for Dad's Firework Crew, and an Eagle Scout.
He was the father of three children, Dennis J. Wajda, III; Robert J. Wajda; and Carrie A. Frates, all of Barrington. His brother, Kenneth F. Wajda and his wife, Wendy; his sister, Deborah L. Wajda; his grandmother, Lottie Wajda; and a niece, Laura Wajda, all of Barrington, also survive him.
On the Munroe Dairy Facebook page last Thursday, there was this message from the company: "Yesterday we lost one of the best Milkmen to ever be a part of the Munroe Dairy Family, Dennis Wajda. His giant smile, laughter and love for life will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his children and family."
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from the Sansone Funeral Home, at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main St., Warren. Burial will be private.
