Community Theater Play Festival Opens

More than 40 students in the Barrington Community Theater will perform eight one-act plays in the library auditorium.

Barrington Community Theater’s spring play festival opens its two-day run in the library auditorium at 7 pm. More than 40 local students will perform in eight one-act plays. Continues Saturday at 7 pm, too.

If you’d rather perform, try “open mic” night at the Coffee Depot at 501 Main St., Warren. You can show off your singing talent starting at 7 pm.

Maybe board games are your cup of tea. Join the Scrabble Club at the Senior Center from 10 am to noon.

You can dance the night away at the Democratic Club, 186 Roffee St., where Nelia Lawton will teach ballroom and Latin dances and then host a social dance starting at 7.

The Bayside ‘Y’ offers another Friday Night Hoops for teenage basketball players in grades 8-12 from 9:30 to 11:30 pm.
