Classic Christmas Flick; Story Hour
Here are five things you should know about in Barrington today, Dec. 20.
The Barrington library presents the classic holiday movie, "A Christmas Story,” tonight at 7 in the theater-like auditorium. You won’t shoot your eye out, but you will enjoy this favorite for young and old alike.
The Barrington Parks and Recreation Commission meets at 7 pm in the board room on the second floor of the Barrington library.
Margie Reed hosts a story hour for children every Thursday at 10 am at Barrington Books in the Barrington Shopping Plaza.
Thursday night Zumba classes at 426 Fitness, 426 Metacom Ave, Warren, will benefit the Warren Animal Shelter, which cares for and houses Barrington strays and pets. Donations are collected during the free classes that start at 7 pm.
The Barrington Preservation Society Museum, located on the lower level of the library building, is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm and by appointment.
