- A circus – of sorts – comes to Barrington’s school vacation-week program at Barrington Middle School today at 11 am. Community theater director and performer Reid Eighme will lead a show and a workshop where kids will get to try out Poi, juggling, and hula hoops.
- You can take a prowl looking for owls today, Dec. 28, starting at 4:30 pm in Veterans Memorial Park in Barrington. Sponsored by the Barrington Land Conservation Trust.
- The Roger Williams University women's basketball team holds a clinic for girls in grades 3 through 8 on Saturday, Dec. 29, from 9 to 11 am in the Campus Recreation Center Fieldhouse, 1 Old Ferry Road, Bristol. Cost is $25 per child.
- Paint your own pottery at Art by You at the Weirdgirl Creations Pottery Studio, 33 Kent St., in Barrington on Saturday, Dec. 29, and Sunday, Dec. 30, from 11 am to 5 pm.
- Get a free nail trim for your pet through the rest of this month at the Barrington Veterinary Clinic, 260 Waseca Ave., when you make a food donation for TAP-IN; call it “4 Paws for a Cause.”
