See 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'; Play Tennis
Barrington library film series in August remembers Marilyn Monroe; play tennis while working out.
“Gentleman Prefer Blondes” opens a Tuesday night film series in August at the Barrington Public Library that celebrates the career of Marilyn Monroe, who died 50 years ago; the movie starts at 7 pm in the air-conditioned auditorium.
Rhythm Quest Percussion, a percussion ensemble for children and teens ages11 to 18 who wish to learn, play and perform within the community, meets at 6 pm in the Reynolds School, 235 High St., in Bristol.
Take in a movie at the Barrington Senior Center at 12:30 pm every Tuesday.
Another tennis cardio-fusion class will be held at 6 pm at the courts at Chianese Memorial Park on Centennial Street; it will move indoors to Centre Court if it rains.
Cultural Society East Bay offers Chinese language classes for children at the Barrington Christian Academy from 3:15 to 4:30 pm.
