Boy Charged With Assaulting His Mother

Teen, 15, threw his mother onto a bed after she said he could no longer use Facebook or play Wii games.

A 15-year-old Barrington boy is being charged with assaulting his mother.

Police said the boy grabbed his mother with both arms and threw her on a bed after becoming enraged. He then left the house.

His mother reportedly was punishing him by saying he could no longer go on Facebook or play Wii games.

The assault occurred on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Police responded at 2:41 pm. The boy was arrested about four hours later after he returned home.

He faces charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct.
