The forecast hasn't changed much. A blizzard is still bearing down on us.

Just a couple days after the 35th anniversary of the Blizzard of '78, New England is expected to get a blizzard starting Friday morning and stretching overnight into Saturday morning.

Rhode Island could see more than 2 feet of snow, the largest snow accumulation since 2010, according to most predictions.

The National Weather Service issued a blizzard watch for most of Rhode Island yesterday, calling it a "potential historic winter storm."

Snow could fall at 3-to-4 inches per hour and winds could gust at more than 20 miles per hour.
