Ben Franklin Stopping By Barrington
Hear a presentation on 'Ancient Errors, Ben Franklin and the Reinvention of America' Thursday evening in the Barrington Public Library.
Benjamin Franklin stops by the Barrington Public Library on Thursday evening, Jan. 24.
Well, we all know that one of America’s founders passed on a long time ago. But his wisdom lives on.
Hear a presentation on “Ancient Errors, Ben Franklin and the Reinvention of America.” It starts at 7 pm.
“Things don't seem to be going very well in America these days,” according to a description of Thursday’s presentation on the library website.
“There are, predictably, an abundance of opinions on the matter, but there can be only one truth,” according to the website. “In pursuit of this truth, this talk, based on Poor Richard's Lament, conjures up an unexpected cause-and-effect chain, and thereby, an unexpected course of redemption.”
"Weighing in (so to say) is Benjamin Franklin himself," according to the website.
The presentation will be held in the auditorium on the second floor of the library. It’s free and open everyone.
