Bay Spring 'Harvest Fest' Coming Up
The Friends of the Bay Spring Community Center are hosting a "harvest festival" on Saturday, Sept. 29.
The Friends of the Bay Spring Community Center invite you to their annual Harvest Fest on Saturday, Sept. 29. It runs from 4 to 7 pm.
The Bay Spring Community Center is located at 170 Narragansett Ave. in the Bay Spring neighborhood of Barrington. The building is the old fire station that has been completely remodeled.
Among the many foods to be served will be Blount soups, Olga's bread, Wildflour cookies, cheese, and cider, according to Sydney Monstream-Quas of the community center.
There will be a raffle with items that include gift cards or baskets from Wildflour Vegan Bakery, Brickyard Wine & Spirits, Grapes and Grains, Soiree, Debra Mann (piano lesson), the Coffee Exchange, and many more, she said.
Raffle tickets are $1 apiece or 6 for $5.
Live music will play throughout the festival.
"Face painting and games will be occurring for the little ones," according to Monstream-Quas.
The cost is only $5 per person (children 5 and under are free).
