A Barrington man was honored recently for a quarter-century of service with the placing of a brick engraved with his name in the plaza of Citizens Bank’s headquarters in Providence.

Jonathan Nicholson was among 117 colleagues and retirees honored by Citizens Bank recently for their 25 or more years of service at a “Brick Dedication Ceremony” at One Citizens Plaza, according to Ashely Gingerella O'Shea, public affairs specialist.

The honored employees came from New England, the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest. All of the honorees were given a brick bearing their name that will be placed outside One Citizens Plaza as a permanent part of Citizens’ history.

The event was the 14th anniversary of the “Brick Dedication Ceremony” held during Citizens’ 19th annual Colleague Appreciation Week.
