Some people believe bad luck happens on a Friday the 13th even as life goes on.
It’s Friday the 13th, just in case you haven’t looked at your calendar and you’re very superstitious or fear the number 13, known as triskaidekaphobia.
Barrington High School’s boys’ baseball team plays at home at 3:45 pm.
If it’s Friday, its “open mic” night at the Coffee Depot at 501 Main St., Warren, where you can show off your singing talent starting at 7 pm.
Friday is also the day the Scrabble Club plays at the Senior Center from 10 am to noon.
Maybe you’d prefer to dance instead at the Democratic Club, 186 Roffee St., where Nelia Lawton will teach ballroom and Latin dances and then host a social dance to test your talent starting at 7 pm.
