See 'Chicken Run', Free 'Oliver' Show
Summer family film series at the Barrington library continues with a showing of the children's move, 'Chicken Run'; St. Andrew's School offers a free performance of 'Oliver'.
Barrington Public Library’s summer family film series – “Animagination” – continues with a free showing of the classic children’s movie, “Chicken Run.” It starts at 7 pm in the air-conditioned auditorium.
St. Andrew's School offers a free performance of "Oliver" at 7 pm in the McCulloch Center for the Arts; its a production of the ACTSA (ACT at St. Andrew's) summer theater camp. Another free show is Friday at 7 pm.
Stop by to see the current exhibit of the Town Museum operated by the Barrington Preservation Society in the lower level of the library: “200 Years of Barrington Summers.” Hours are 11 am to 3 pm.
Two local independent filmmakers, Alexander Watrous and Richard Dionne, present the fourth session of a hands-on workshop for anyone interested in making their own films; it starts at 6 pm in the Barrington library.
Take a free Zumba class at 426 Fitness, 426 Metacom Ave., in Warren and benefit the animal shelter where Barrington pets often are taken for treatment and shelter. The class starts at 7 pm.
Check your blood pressure at the Barrington Senior Center at 10:30 am and stick around to play Bingo at 1 pm.
