5 Things to Know About Today

Here are five things you should know about today in Barrington:
- There will be a mix of clouds and sun in the morning with cloudy skies in the afternoon with high temperatures in the mid to high 30s. Some snow and rain is expected to show up overnight.
- The film series, "Teacher Movies Through the Years," continues in the Barrington library auditorium at 7 pm with Lean on Me, a film about a dedicated but tyrannical principal determined to improve a decaying inner-city school. Gino Sangiuliano of RIDE will lead a follow-up discussion after the movie.
- The Barrington Town Council holds a special meeting tonight at 7 in the Council Chamber in Town Hall with an agenda that includes a discussion of possible tax exemptions for senior citizens who own homes.
- Play Duplicate Bridge every Monday at the Barrington Senior Center at 6:45 pm.
- Barrington Neighbors and Newcomers hosts tennis drills and workouts at Centre Court Tennis Club, 55 Hospital Road, Riverside starting at 9 am.
