5 Things to Know About Today

Here are five things you should know about today in Barrington:

  1. Get ready for a wintry mix of snow and rain this morning that will turn into mostly rain in the afternoon with high temperatures near 40 degrees.
  2. The Barrington Newcomers and Neighbors Club holds tennis drills and a workout from 9 am to noon at the Riverside tennis club, 55 Hospital Road.
  3. Love to knit? Join the Knitters Group at the Barrington Senior Center, 281 County Road, the lower level of the library, every Wednesday at 10 am.
  4. The Town Museum operated by the Barrington Preservation Society is open today from 11 am to 3 pm; it is located in the lower level of the library, 281 County Road.
  5. St. James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Highway, hosts a weekly Al Anon meeting for adults who were raised in alcoholic homes. It starts at 7 pm.
