5 Things to Know About This Weekend

Here are five things you should know about this weekend in and around Barrington:
- Mostly sunny today with highs near 48; chance of a snow shower on Saturday with a high in the upper 30s. and partly cloudy on Sunday with highs reaching only into the upper 20s.
- The Roger Williams University School of Law holds the 2013 Public Interest Law Auction today from 5:30 to 9 pm in the rooftop Grand Ballroom of the Biltmore Hotel, 11 Dorrance St., Providence. Tickets are $20. Click here to see auction items.
- Take a walkabout of the west side of Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday morning starting at 10 am with the Barrington Land Conservation Trust. Park and meet at the ice skating rink on Legion Way.
- Graeme Stellar, Yo-Yo master and everyday high school kid, will lead a Yo-Yo demonstration on Sunday at 2 pm in the Barrington library. Learn some cool tricks. Free Yo-Yos provided for all attendees.
- The Hampden Meadows Volunteer Fire Company hosts its annual Valentine's Day pasta dinner fundraiser on Sunday from 4 to 7 pm at the station at 168 Sowams Road. Tickets are $15; call 245-4413 or send an email to rphmvfc@yahoo.com.
