5 Things to Know About This Weekend

Some snow; scholarship seminar; exploration day; paint pottery; teen open mic at library.

 

Here are five things you should know about this weekend in and around Barrington:

  1. Some snow or a snow and rain mix is expected to fall again this weekend, starting Saturday evening and continuing into Sunday morning. Projected accumulations were still a bit uncertain this morning.
  2. The Sylvan Learning Center, 334 County Road, offers a seminar on paying for college, "The Scholarship Edge," on Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Learn the latest techniques for scholarship searching and organizing no matter what your income.
  3. Lincoln School on the East Side of Providence offers an Exploration Day on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 10 to 11:30 am for girls ages 4-8. Click here for more details.
  4. Paint some pottery at Art by You at Weirdgirl Creations, 33 Kent St., on Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm.
