5 Things to Know About This Weekend
Mostly sunny all weekend; 'Legend of Sleepy Hollow' at high school; 'Flat Stanley' at middle school; Nayatt 5K Run/Walk; gospel and inspirational music.
Here are six things you should know about this weekend in Barrington:
- It will be mostly sunny all weekend with temperatures getting up into the mid to high 40s.
- The Stagemasters at Barrington High School present two more performances of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" tonight and Saturday night at 7 in the auditorium.
- Students at Sowams School present two Arts Alive! performances of "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley JR." tonight and Saturday night at 7 at the Barrington Middle School.
- The annual Nayatt 5K Run/Walk takes place Saturday morning at Nayatt School; the 5K starts at 10 am; other youth races start at 9 am; registration at 7:15 am.
- Barrington United Methodist Church, 230 Washington Road, presents an evening of gospel and inspirational music on Saturday from 6 to 7:30 pm to benefit the Mosquito Nets for Africa cause.

FAB-For Anything But...alcohol, drugs or tobacco is hosting the 3rd Annual 5 v 5 basketball tournament at St. Andrews School on Sat. April 20th! We have 4 team spots available. All profit benefits FAB to pay for the tournament. FAB is about raising awareness and aiding in prevention of substance use. We are always looking for sponsors to help us make this tournament a reality. 16 teams carrying up to 8 players per team, each player gets a t-shirt with sponsors names on every shirt. We add all sponsor names to our press releases and all marketing material. We will have a guest speaker at noon with pizza for the players. Any additional profit will be donated to Recovery Without Walls in Falmouth MA. Call the FAB line at 401 261 5476.
